This session will highlight the essential components of an IJ removal plan for deficiencies cited for infection control. Critical components and timeframes of infection control-related IJ removal will be discussed with actual deficiency examples and practical guidance to improve compliance.

Tips and strategies will be shared for writing an IJ removal plan and subsequent Plans of Corrections (PoCs), as well as for preparing for the IJ removal and revisit surveys that follow.
