Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Training - October 7, 2026

Attendance/Location:

Students will attend this course through the CANVAS online education platform.  The student will receive their login information one (1) day prior to the class.

Class size is limited to the first 50 students.

Course Information:

• This course is for the 75-hour classroom version only
  
  
• Student must be 18 years of age or older to take this course
  
  
• Students will have 100 days from the 1st day of the class to complete the course
  
  
• The student's supervisor will be given login information and have the ability to monitor/check student's progress.
  
  
• TMU/Headmaster Test Preparation is included in this course.
  
  
• This course is designed to instruct the student in nursing procedures to be performed under the supervision of a licensed nurse. It prepares the student for employment in a long-term care facility/hospital/hospice and home health agency
  
  

Course Requirements:

• When registering to take the course, student must provide the following:
  • Legal first and last name (as on your driver's license or Missouri State ID)
  • Must provide Supervisor's name and contact information.  Supervisor may be your facility 
        administrator, director of nursing, or your educator.
  • Must provide a unique personal email for each student (i.e. if a supervisor is registering more than 
        1 student, each student must have a unique email address).
  • Must upload a copy of driver’s license to confirm that the student is or will be 18 years of age or 
        older on the 1st day of this course (underage students will not be accepted, no exceptions).
  • Must have access to the internet and a computer for downloading the course book

Registration Fees:

• MHCA Members - $700 per person (includes textbook fee) (student must be employed by a member   
      facility)
• Non-Members - $1,300 per person (includes textbook fee)

Registration and payment must be received by close of business on Friday the week before the course begins.  Registrations after this date will automatically be moved to the next month start date. 

Company checks or money orders should be made payable to MHCA.  We do not accept personal checks. Credit card payments are accepted.  We accept Visa, MasterCard & American Express.  Course fees MUST be PAID IN FULL prior to student having course access.  

A user fee of $200 per student will be charged once the Canvas Invite has been accepted and the student has logged in.  Should a student drop/resign a remaining balance can be used towards another student registration.  No credit will be issued once the orientation module is completed. 

Cancellation/Refunds:

• To receive a full refund, cancellations must be received by the FRIDAY BEFORE the class beings
• A refund of $300 can be issued if the student has NOT started any assignments.
  
• NO refund will be given once the orientation module has been completed.
  • If student is unable to attend due to an emergency situation, the student can delay the course and be moved to an upcoming course.  Student and supervisor must contact Shellie Goodin, shellie@mohealthcare.com or 573-893-2060, to discuss.
