CNA Instructor - Virtual Workshop

This state-required and Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services approved workshop is designed to prepare RNs to instruct nursing assistant students for long term care facilities in Missouri.

Shellie Goodin, RN, MSN, MBA - Shellie Goodin has practiced nursing since 1994. She graduated from the University of MO Columbia earning a BSN and Clarkson College earning a MSN. She also earned her MBA in Health Care Management from William Woods University. She has worked in the areas of long-term care, rehabilitation, surgical, dialysis, and obstetrics. She has joined the staff at MHCA as the Director of Clinical and Quality Services. She retired after 26 years as an instructor for Nichols Career Center in Jefferson City, MO, where she served in Practical Nursing and Health Science Education. She taught UAP classes for University Hospital for approximately 10 years and serves as a Content Expert in Health Science Areas for the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. She has been active in CNA education for the Department of Health and Senior Services and is a test observer for TMU (Headmaster).
